ShoeBox

Has anyone used ShoeBox before? It looks like a very capable - and free- alternative to TexturePacker: http://renderhjs.net/shoebox

I was put off by the adobe air thing. Don't know why. But I went with darkfunction instead.

I'm not a huge fan of the air-thingie either, but it does look to be a bit more capable on the whole spritesheet side.
I believe there's a way to turn air application into "native" ones, by using some sort of wrapper. Never done it myself though.

I have used shoebox quite extensively, it's the tool of choice for me to pack my sprites. I can't live without it now :) I have no problem with air as I have been to flixel side for a while ;)
