RefreshRate usage?

What are the rules around using RefreshRate under the Display section?

It has to be Fullscreen = true I am sure.

Is it possible to have a RefreshRate of say... 2 on a 60hz screen refresh?



  • It's indeed for (real) fullscreen mode. GLFW will use the closest rate available to what was requested.
    If your screen supports at lowest 30Hz and you request 2, it'll be 30.

    I can't test it on my setup as refresh rate isn't honored by my graphics driver for some reason, not just with orx but with any game I've tried.

  • Cool thanks for that. So it's more of a "requested" rate, rather than a rate divider or anything like that (ie, deliberately dropping frames).
